Komorowski Asked About Trzaskowski’s Lies: “You Can Convince People of Almost Anything”

Bronisław Komorowski was asked about Rafał Trzaskowski’s alleged lies during one of the recent presidential debates.

“If someone manages to win an election through lies, then others are quick to follow — it spreads like a disease,” the former president said.

During a presidential debate organized by the now-defunct TVP, Rafał Trzaskowski reportedly strayed from the truth multiple times — as demonstrated by fact-checking organization Demagog.

Bronisław Komorowski was asked today about the lies attributed to the Civic Coalition’s presidential candidate.

“He claimed he didn’t use certain… well, you know — there’s a big difference between evasiveness and deliberate lying. Let me put it this way: credibility is something you build over a lifetime — including your entire political career,” Komorowski stated.

He went on to add, “If someone manages to win an election through lies, others are quick to jump on the bandwagon. It spreads like a virus.”

“You can convince people of almost anything — and that’s exactly what’s happening online and in many other places,” Komorowski warned.
