Krzysztof “Diablo” Włodarczyk Criticizes FAME MMA: “A Lack of Respect”

Former boxing world champion Krzysztof “Diablo” Włodarczyk has voiced his critical perspective on the growing popularity of FAME MMA events in Poland. Known for its flashy spectacle and intense rivalries, FAME MMA has captured public interest, but Włodarczyk sees deeper issues at play.

“I think people are drawn to the chaos that unfolds there,” Włodarczyk remarked. “It’s a lack of respect between individuals and mutual insults. That’s not my world.” Comparing it to boxing, he emphasized the respect inherent in his sport, even amid fierce competition in the ring. “Boxing has always held a prestigious position, grounded in respect. This kind of entertainment, in my eyes, isn’t a sport, and I believe its trend will eventually fade.”

Despite receiving an offer to participate in a FAME MMA fight, Włodarczyk declined. He hinted at regret over missing the financial opportunity but remained focused on his professional career. Currently, he is preparing for a potential international title fight, dedicating himself to an intensive training regime and strict diet.

Reflecting on the appeal of FAME MMA, Włodarczyk noted the role of spectacle and the audience’s appetite for unconventional entertainment. However, he expressed hope that younger generations will turn toward traditional sports that promote values and discipline. “When I meet young people during seminars across Poland, I see their desire for something meaningful. I believe in their potential.”

As Włodarczyk prepares for his next challenge, his critique of FAME MMA serves as a call to refocus on the essence of true sport—respect, perseverance, and moral integrity.
