Well-known aesthetic medicine doctor Krzysztof Gojdź returned briefly from Beverly Hills to Poland. In a conversation with Fakt, he shared his observations about high prices in Warsaw and admitted that even for him, the costs can be shocking.
For years, Krzysztof Gojdź has been living in the United States, where, after selling his clinic empire, he settled in Miami and Los Angeles. The aesthetic medicine doctor often returns to Poland, and most recently appeared during the filming of the second episode of Dancing with the Stars.
In his conversation with Fakt, he admitted that the steep cost of living in Warsaw is noticeable even for him.
“Warsaw has become super expensive. Maybe you don’t see it, because it’s hard to notice day by day, but you know, for 100 PLN in Warsaw you can’t buy anything now. Maybe a coffee with a pastry. I’m shocked by this,” said Gojdź.
The doctor compared prices in Poland and the USA.
“Sometimes the prices in some Warsaw restaurants are higher than those in the United States. So I don’t know how you are able to survive on the money you earn here in Warsaw,” he added.
Although Gojdź can afford to live in several places around the world, he stresses that chasing luxury is no longer his priority.
“I come from the small town of Dębno. My parents raised me as a modest boy with empathy for patients. I’m definitely not focused on constant profit, on buying more cars and houses. Now I’m happy that I can wake up in the morning, drink a coffee, hug my dog, take him for a walk. These are the moments I live for, and the money I have will be enough for modest living until the end of my life,” he revealed.
As he admitted, he owns several properties in the United States, but doesn’t consider himself excessively wealthy.
“In Miami I still have a house and several apartments. In Los Angeles I recently bought a beautiful house on a hill in West Hollywood. A modest home, because it’s really small, 200 square meters. It’s not a mansion like the ones my celebrity friends own,” he concluded.
