Dariusz Matecki, a Member of Parliament from the Law and Justice (PiS) party, announced that he is preparing “leaflets for illegal migrants,” whose numbers in Poland are steadily increasing. “They will contain information that Polish society does not want them here, that they are not welcome – along with all the consequences of that,” the politician explained.
Reports continue to emerge from various towns in Poland about illegal migrants walking through the streets.
There have been incidents of migrants being placed in children’s homes across the country, as well as groups of foreigners strolling around – for example, in Szczecin. An unusual situation also occurred in Lubin, where migrants were seen running naked through the streets.
According to findings by Gazeta Polska Codziennie, German authorities are transferring between 2 and 10 migrants to Poland each day through the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Due to overcrowding in 15 migrant centers, the Border Guard has been trying to house newcomers from Africa and Asia in Caritas shelters or – as happened last Friday in Szczecin – with the Missionaries of Charity. Although migrants are supposed to report weekly, in practice, many simply disappear without a trace.
Leaflets for Migrants
The Border Defense Movement (Ruch Obrony Granic) responds to each of these cases. Now, Dariusz Matecki has announced on social media that his foundation – the Center for Monitoring Anti-Polonism – will prepare special leaflets intended to discourage illegal migrants from staying in Poland.
“Next week, I will create leaflets in Arabic, Somali, and English addressed to migrants at the borders and in Polish cities,” the MP wrote.
He went on to clarify the contents of the leaflets, which will carry a very clear message:
“They will say that Polish society does not want them here, that they are not welcome – along with all the consequences of that. As places where they can seek temporary help, possibly overnight shelter, we will list the offices of Civic Platform (KO) politicians – those responsible for allowing mass migration and accepting all the migrants that Germany is now sending us,” the post reads.
“We will print the leaflets and distribute them to Border Defense Movement teams, as well as to independent citizen patrols, which are growing in number. Teams from all over the country will be heading to West Pomerania,” he announced.
