Football player from Tarnów, Poland, Mateusz Klich left the Leeds United club because he received an offer from Major League Soccer. The way his teammates said goodbye to him after the match is worth checking out.
Klich burst into tears out of emotion. After the match, he was given a special goodbye by his teammates. There were amazing pictures, special T-shirts for a Pole, and a festive atmosphere. Also, as usual, there were cheers from Leeds fans.
Klich plays at the Central Midfield position and joined the club in June 2017.
The following season, he helped Leeds win the Sky Bet Championship and promotion back to the Premier League for the first time in 16 years.
According to the club’s official website, since returning to the top-flight, Klich has gone onto make 81 Premier League appearances for Leeds, helping the club finish ninth in 2020/21 and avoid relegation on the last day of the campaign last season.
