MFA informs no Poles injured in Turkey earthquake

No casualties among Polish citizens have been reported from Monday’s earthquake in Turkey and Syria, according to a spokesman from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on Tuesday.

On Tuesday morning, the death toll of the 7.8-magnitude quake that struck southeastern Turkey and northern Syria was reported to be 5,021.

According to Turkey’s Vice-President Fuat Oktay, 3,419 of these casualties occurred in Turkey and an additional 20,534 people were wounded.
