Poznań has been added to the esteemed list of cities featured in the Michelin Guide. As part of the annual guide, Michelin has released their selection of the best restaurants, bars, and bistros worldwide.

An international publication is offering a promotional opportunity for Warsaw, Krakow and Poznań, which could bring positive benefits to the catering staff. These individuals will need to stay up-to-date on trends and be well-prepared for visits from guests and inspectors looking for the best flavours.

“With its Old Market Square – one of its gems – and streets full of charm, Poznań is a city our inspectors have enjoyed exploring,”

Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guides, said.

“Across all three Polish cities, professional talent shines, with ambitious chefs keen to reinterpret the essence of Polish cuisine and highlight Poland’s gastronomy on the international culinary scene,”

    continued Poullennec.

“Poznań is quickly gaining a reputation as the capital of Polish gastronomy. With its culinary offer becoming increasingly popular, it’s no wonder that the city is a top travel destination. Locals and visitors alike are drawn to the city’s diverse cuisine, making it a key element in the decision to visit Poznań. It appears that the culinary offer of Poznań may soon become the leading feature of the city,”

adds the president of the Poznań Local Tourism Organisation, Jan Mazurczak.
