The Morawiecki–Babiš meeting took place in Prague.
“I was pleased to welcome Mateusz Morawiecki today at the Prime Minister’s Office,”
Babiš wrote.
In turn, Morawiecki pointed out that it was a long discussion “about necessary reforms in the EU and deepening economic cooperation.”
“I am glad that on key issues, such as the harmful impact of the ETS system on our economies, we speak with one voice! We must suspend this harmful ETS system as soon as possible!”
he stated.
He also recalled that “under the United Right government, we were able to pursue an active policy within the European Union and build blocking coalitions on key issues.”
“Now we must make up for this work from the opposition benches, because Prime Minister Tusk apparently is already busy planning a long weekend,”
he concluded.
