Morawiecki: “No one needs to teach Poles what work means”

It was workers, craftsmen, farmers, and employees across all sectors who, through their courage and determination, led to the restoration of freedom and the building of a modern state, former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki indicated in a post published on social media.

Today marks Labour Day, and the Catholic Church commemorates Saint Joseph the Worker.

On this occasion, Mateusz Morawiecki published a post on social media in which he takes a “bird’s-eye view” of the “great achievements of working people in Poland”.

“It is thanks to them that the greatest political change of the 20th century took place – a bloodless revolution that swept a great empire off the map of the world. It was workers, craftsmen, farmers, and employees across all sectors who, through their courage and determination, led to the restoration of freedom and the building of a modern state”, Morawiecki stressed.
