Nawrocki Gains Broad Public Approval, Reaching Beyond Party Lines

President Karol Nawrocki enjoys the support of a majority of Poles – according to the latest poll conducted for Wirtualna Polska. The president is also managing to win approval among voters not aligned with the two main parties in Poland’s political conflict.

New poll – the president evaluated positively by Poles

The WP survey shows that a clear majority of Poles – 57.9 percent – assess President Karol Nawrocki’s presidency positively so far. Among respondents evaluating the president positively, 26.2 percent chose “definitely positively”, while 31.3 percent said he acts “rather positively”. Taken together, this gives the president a solid base of support exceeding half of society. On the other side of the spectrum are 35.4 percent of those surveyed. The answer “definitely negatively” was selected by 13.5 percent of respondents, while “rather negatively” – by 21.9 percent. A total of 7.1 percent of respondents remain undecided.

The most interesting result of the poll is the attitude toward the president among voters not associated with the two main political forces – Law and Justice (PiS) and the Civic Coalition (KO). In this group, as many as 73 percent of respondents evaluate President Karol Nawrocki’s actions positively. This result may indicate that the president is managing to appeal to the political center and build an image independent of the main lines of political division in the country.
