Rafał Trzaskowski has once again surprised with his behavior on the campaign trail. During a rally in Głogów, he lost his composure upon seeing critical banners displayed by fans of the local club “Chrobry Głogów.”
Campaign or Comedy Show?
When supporters of “Chrobry Głogów” unfurled a banner reading:
“Against mass migration and the falsification of Polish history,”
the Mayor of Warsaw began shouting from the podium:
“Thank you so much, fans, for the awesome displays! You’re great! Greetings to you! Thank you for being with us! Smile, my dears! Awesome! Give us some energy—we can’t hear you!”
The PO candidate’s behavior sparked lively reactions online:
“I’m no expert, but I guess campaign ‘chemistry’ really lingers in a person,” joked one user, commenting on Trzaskowski’s performance.
Nerves and Frustration
The sight of Warsaw’s mayor trying to drown out criticism with chaotic cheers instantly went viral. More and more commentators note that such reactions may signal growing frustration and helplessness in his campaign.
There’s no denying it—the PO candidate’s nerves must be fraying. This comes right after his disastrous performance in the Końskie debate, where instead of countering opponents or persuading undecided voters, Trzaskowski seemed completely lost. He avoided answers, dodged questions, and at times appeared desperate to leave the stage.
Rafał Trzaskowski’s entire campaign increasingly resembles an ill-conceived comedy tour—one with more chaos than real solutions for Poles.
