New Technologies for Poland’s Security Presented at the Presidential Palace

Representatives of the Polish drone industry presented their latest technological solutions at the Presidential Palace. The event took place against the backdrop of Russian attacks on Polish airspace and was the first meeting of its kind organized by the National Security Bureau.

New Technological Challenges for the Armed Forces

During the event, unmanned combat platforms, anti-drone radars, and systems for countering autonomous drones were showcased:

We are aware that drones are a breakthrough technology, and recent events prove that we must strengthen this area of activity in the near future,”

emphasized Paweł Szefernaker, Head of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.

Representatives of the invited companies stressed that the experience of the war in Ukraine forces the constant modernization of the armed forces. It was pointed out that the life cycle of some products is now as short as three months. During the discussion, Dr Tomasz Rożek proposed the creation of a network of sensors to monitor airspace, modelled on the air quality monitoring system.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, including Zbigniew Bogucki, Adam Andruszkiewicz, Rafał Leśkiewicz, as well as Generals Andrzej Kowalski and Mirosław Bryś.
