Olivia Maslov Claims Polish Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship Title

15-year-old Polish European Championship medalist Olivia Maslov celebrated her biggest national success to date by winning the Polish Junior Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Warsaw.

With a stunning performance, Maslov secured the title, prevailing over strong competition and once again showcasing her extraordinary talent and elegance in this demanding sport.

In a thrilling competition, Maslov excelled in all-around disciplines—hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon. Her precise technique, combined with artistic expression and exceptional body control, earned her a well-deserved victory. This marks another important milestone in the young athlete’s already impressive career.

    Experienced Coach and International Successes

For several years, Maslov has been under the guidance of renowned coach Irina Lortkipanidze, who has played a crucial role in her success. Lortkipanidze, a former elite gymnast herself, has a keen eye for talent and has nurtured Maslov not only technically but also mentally. Olivia is an extraordinary athlete who constantly pushes her limits. Her ambition and passion for the sport are unmatched,” said Lortkipanidze after the competition.

In addition to her national achievements, Maslov has also enjoyed numerous successes at international competitions. In FIG (Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique) tournaments, which represent the highest level in rhythmic gymnastics, she has won multiple medals over the past few years. Her results and podium finishes at these prestigious events have solidified her reputation as one of the rising stars in European and international rhythmic gymnastics.

    Olympic Ambition: Los Angeles 2028

While the national title is a significant achievement for Maslov, her long-term goal is clear: to compete at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. “The Olympics are every athlete’s dream,” Maslov said after her triumph in Warsaw. “I know the road ahead is long and tough, but with my team and the support of my family, I firmly believe I can make it.”

Her training regimen will become even more intense in the coming years as she prepares for this ambitious goal. In close collaboration with her coach, Maslov will continue to compete in international events and establish herself among the world’s elite. “We have a clear plan,” Lortkipanidze explained. “Olivia is still young and constantly evolving. If she continues on this path, she will play a key role in Los Angeles 2028.”
