Rising Star Olivia Maslov Claims Five Golds in Budapest
Olivia Maslov, a 15-year-old rhythmic gymnast from Poland, achieved a remarkable feat at the 29th International Gracia Fair Cup in Budapest. Maslov, coached by Irina Lortkipanidze, swept all five gold medals available, including the all-around title and individual apparatus events: hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon. This extraordinary accomplishment cements her status as a rising star in Polish rhythmic gymnastics. Earlier this year, Maslov won a bronze medal in the hoop event at the 2024 European Championships, also held in Budapest, showcasing her rapid progression and increasing dominance in the sport.
Looking Ahead to Future Success
Expressing her joy after the competition, Maslov extended heartfelt thanks to her coach, family, and supporters, pledging to continue working hard to bring more international medals to Poland. Representing the UKS Irina Warsaw club, she is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most promising talents in rhythmic gymnastics. With her sights set on the upcoming San Marino Cup 2024, where she will face Europe’s top junior gymnasts, Maslov is also seen as a strong contender for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, alongside fellow Polish gymnast Liliana Lewińska.
