    Olsztyn Remembers General Sosnkowski

    Olsztyn honors General Sosnkowski with a seminar and wreath-laying ceremony on the anniversary of his death.

    On October 11, Olsztyn will commemorate the anniversary of General Kazimierz Sosnkowski’s passing with a series of solemn events.

    The tribute will begin at noon in room 219 of Olsztyn City Hall with a special seminar. During the event, medals will be awarded by the Piłsudski Association of Poland. At 1 PM, a military honor guard will accompany the wreath-laying ceremony at the Home Army monument.

    Sosnkowski’s Legacy

    General Sosnkowski, an influential figure in Polish military history, served as Commander-in-Chief of the Union of Armed Struggle, later transformed into the Home Army in 1942. His immense contributions to Poland, both as a military leader and a statesman, have left an indelible mark on the nation’s history.

    The event is organized by the Piłsudski Association of Poland.
