Experience inspiring art at Ujazdowski Castle’s “Opening Up!” program. Discover thought-provoking exhibitions, interactive events, and groundbreaking installations this winter.
The Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle invites you to the grand finale of its autumn-winter program, “Opening Up!” This series of exhibitions, performances, and workshops offers a fresh perspective on contemporary art, running through 2024 and into early 2025.
Highlights include the collaborative project “Closed Gardens of Solitude”, featuring sculptures by Adam Martyniak and a video installation by Agata Konarska and Agata Lankamer. Together, they explore themes of isolation and virtual refuge. Additionally, the “Snucie” exhibition by the textpol collective delves into textiles as a socially engaged art form, focusing on their sensory and historical qualities.
Not to be missed is the video installation “Tette Dolci” / “Sweet Boobs” by Agata Konarska and Izabela Sitarska, investigating contemporary rituals, available December 6–12. Other upcoming events include a photography showcase, lectures on biotechnological art, and avant-pop musical performances.
The program emphasizes movement, creativity, and openness: “We’re airing out corridors, opening windows and doors, and letting in new energy.” Don’t miss the chance to experience art that inspires, challenges, and connects.
The exhibitions and events run until January 26, 2025.
