PiS has a candidate for mayor of Kraków. Decision made unanimously

PiS spokesperson Rafał Bochenek announced after the party’s Political Committee meeting that the party’s candidate for mayor of Kraków will be Michał Drewnicki, Deputy Chairman of the City Council. “He has shown that in many matters he is capable of supporting various initiatives in a non-partisan, cross-community manner,” Bochenek said.

The issue of selecting a candidate for mayor of Kraków was one of the topics discussed during the PiS Political Committee meeting. As Rafał Bochenek informed, Michał Drewnicki received unanimous support.

“He is a committed individual”

“A long-serving local government official, a long-serving city councillor, and Deputy Chairman of the City Council. It is of great value that this decision, following our discussion, was made unanimously,” the PiS spokesperson said.

He also appealed to the Confederation party.

“If we are to speak about unity on the right, this is also our offer to them—to consider supporting this candidate in the upcoming election for the office of Mayor of Kraków,” the MP stated.

Responding to journalists’ questions, Bochenek stressed that Drewnicki is well known among Kraków residents.

“He works very intensively for the benefit of the city of Kraków. He has shown that in many matters he is capable of supporting various initiatives in a non-partisan, cross-community manner. He is a committed individual,” Rafał Bochenek said.
