PiS Leader at the Convention in Łódź: “The Future of Poland is at Stake in This Election”

“The future of Poland is what’s at stake in this election — both in terms of the individual lives of Poles, their standard of living, their wallets, the everyday issues that are simple yet crucial, but also in terms of the community, the state, our future, and the generations to come,” said Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of Law and Justice (PiS), during Karol Nawrocki’s campaign convention for his presidential candidacy.

Nawrocki’s Convention: Kaczyński’s Speech
During today’s convention in Łódź, PiS Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński addressed the audience. The head of the largest opposition party commented on President Andrzej Duda’s earlier speech.

“It was a truly remarkable address by the President. I have always known him to be an excellent speaker, but today he really showed it. He also demonstrated how the head of the Polish state should defend Poland’s national interests. Today’s very important speech and today’s strong endorsement are clear expressions of commitment to those interests,”

Kaczyński said.

He emphasized that “it is the future of Poland that is at stake in this election — understood both in relation to individual Poles, their quality of life, their finances, these seemingly simple but vital matters, and also in relation to the broader community, the state, the future, and the generations to come.”

“This national interest is being challenged today in many ways and on every level — from everyday issues all the way up to the very existence of our statehood, something we have had to fight for time and again. Everything is now under threat: whether it’s the devastating inflation or the series of harmful policies mentioned earlier by Mr. Wildstein. All of this is being questioned, and we must respond,”

he stated.

Kaczyński stressed that “we can respond to it — we can truly win this fight.”

“We must also remember that the level of commitment required for this fight — the kind of total commitment President Duda referred to, the kind we once called ‘biting the grass’ — must be repeated. This is our duty! Our candidate is backed by a wide range of social groups. If we want to fulfill not just a party mission, but a national, patriotic duty, we must engage fully! I repeat, it requires the full involvement of everyone — both the young, who know only the post-1989 era, and the older generations, who remember the earlier times. Without that determined engagement, we won’t be able to achieve what is now absolutely necessary for our homeland, for Poland,”

Kaczyński declared.

He also pointed out that Karol Nawrocki enjoys the full backing of the main opposition party.

“Let us remember: even though the support here is broad, a crucial part of it is the full, one hundred percent endorsement from our political movement — Law and Justice. We must remember that victory demands effort, sacrifice, and strength. A good example of that strength is none other than our candidate, Karol Nawrocki. I’m not just talking about physical strength — though that’s useful too — but the strength of character, the strength of personality, the kind of strength needed today by anyone who seeks to lead the state and the nation through difficult times,”

Kaczyński said.
