PiS Leaders Review 2025: “Karol Nawrocki’s Victory Signals Public Rejection of the Government’s Course”

Taking advantage of the fact that the year 2025 is coming to an end, politicians from Law and Justice (PiS) summed up this period. According to Mariusz Błaszczak, “it was a difficult year for Poland.” Mateusz Morawiecki, however, looks to the coming time with optimism, pointing out that 2026 will be a year of “battles for a normal Poland.”

In just a few hours, the New Year – 2026 – will begin. However, welcoming the new year and bidding farewell to the “old” one is often associated with summing up what has happened recently. Members of parliament from Law and Justice (PiS) summed up 2025, focusing primarily on political issues.

Błaszczak: “It was a difficult year”

At the beginning of his post, Mariusz Błaszczak assesses that “it was a difficult year for Poland.”

However, despite the poor governance of Donald Tusk, hope emerged that our Homeland could return to a path of development, security, and justice. The great victory of President Karol Nawrocki became for many Poles a symbol of hope – a signal that the State is not lost, that a course correction is possible and a return to policies based on the national interest rather than the diktat of elites detached from the real problems of ordinary people, we read.

The Law and Justice (PiS) politician points out that “Karol Nawrocki’s presidential victory showed that Poles do not accept chaos, ideological experiments, and the dismantling of the state. It was a moment of relief in a year full of mistakes and omissions by the Donald Tusk government.” He then made a critical assessment of Donald Tusk’s government, highlighting issues important to Poles, including the collapse of healthcare, the demolition of the justice system, failures in international relations, harmful changes in education, and the crippling of state security.

In conclusion, the politician assesses that “Karol Nawrocki’s victory has a significance that goes beyond a single election. It is a sign of opposition to this government’s policies. It is proof that Poles want a strong, just, and responsible state. Hope still exists, but there is still a lot of work ahead of us. In dialogue with the public, Law and Justice (PiS) is preparing the next edition of our program – a program guaranteeing a prosperous and secure Poland. Therefore, in the New Year, let us have even more faith that Poland can be better.”

Morawiecki: “It will be a year of struggle

A political summary of the ending year was also presented by Mateusz Morawiecki, Vice President of Law and Justice (PiS), however – from the perspective of plans for 2026.

“I promise you one thing. The year 2026 will be a year of struggle. A year of battles for a normal Poland. Today we see chaos, improvisation, and incompetence. We see a state that, instead of developing – is moving backward. From the dramatic situation in healthcare and the state budget to the liquidation or massive delays in key development programs and infrastructure programs. Poles today want one thing: a normal Poland – safe and ambitious. And I am maximally mobilized,” we hear in the published recording.

Further on, the former Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland points out: “Every day I take a step toward the Poland that Poles deserve. But of course – I will not do it alone. No one will do it alone. I need you, your support, your presence, your activity, and your courage. Together we will succeed.”
