“Victims of crimes are being left without help as of January! But it is not only victims of violence or rape who are suffering due to the incompetence, laziness, and preoccupation with persecuting the opposition by Żurek, Bodnar, and their people,” wrote PiS MP Marcin Romanowski.
The politician has filed a notification concerning a justified suspicion of a criminal offense involving the failure to fulfill duties related to protecting children from pedophilic crimes by Waldemar Żurek, Adam Bodnar, and Zuzanna Rudzińska-Bluszcz.
“Victims of crimes are left without help.” PiS MP files a notification with the prosecutor’s office
MP Marcin Romanowski reported that the notification concerns a suspected failure to fulfill duties by individuals responsible for supervising the implementation of the so-called “Kamil Act,” in particular the lack of timely implementation of the National Plan for Counteracting Sexual Violence Against Children.
In his post, the politician pointed to months-long delays, a lack of responses to parliamentary interpellations, and omissions which—according to him—may expose children to further violence and violate the public interest.
“Tusk’s clique supports pedophiles! Victims of crimes are being left without help as of January! But it is not only victims of violence or rape who are suffering due to the incompetence, laziness, and the focus on persecuting the opposition by Żurek, Bodnar, and their people,”
we read in his post.
In his view, “children are also still being exposed to sexual violence, because the Ministry of Justice under Tusk’s rule has failed to implement on time the most important executive act enforcing the Kamil Act and for nearly four months has been concealing information that is embarrassing for them.”
“As soon as signals emerged about serious negligence in the protection of children, nearly four months ago, together with MP Grzegorz Lorek I submitted a parliamentary interpellation asking about the implementation of the National Plan for Counteracting Sexual Violence Against Children—a key element in implementing the Kamil Act. The Ministry received 100 detailed questions concerning the execution of specific measures across five strategic areas developed on the basis of international child-protection standards. For each specific task, the Plan specifies a deadline for implementation and the responsible entity,”
he recalled.
He added that “since Bodnar and Żurek did not take care of this, prosecutors should examine whether the Ministry and other institutions committed criminal negligence.”
“This would be far less burdensome—and necessary for the public interest of protecting children—than interrogating thousands of firefighters simply because they used equipment purchased from the Justice Fund while saving lives, health, and property. And it would certainly mobilize the inept members of the December 13 coalition to work for the protection of the youngest,”
he clarified.
“The government is neglecting its duties”
Romanowski also pointed out that when he asked the Ministry “whether it is in fact implementing and supervising actions in accordance with the adopted plan, without gross negligence and delays,” he received no response.
“The lack of reaction and the existence of negligence in analogous areas justify the suspicion that nothing is happening. This is further proof that the current government—rather than strengthening the protection of children—is neglecting its duties. During the election campaign, there were empty slogans about protecting women and children; when it comes to actual work, it is the right wing that helps, while the leftists are either persecuting the opposition or forcing a foolish woke ideology and other perversions everywhere. This is not only the demolition of the Justice Fund. A similar situation occurred with the attempt to lower the standard of protection under the Kamil Act, a draft prepared by Bodnar’s people and pushed through by the December 13 Coalition—fortunately vetoed in August 2025 by the President,”
Romanowski emphasized.
In his opinion, “the failure to properly implement the National Plan and the paralysis of actions constitute a serious violation of the law.”
“Therefore, I am filing a notification of a suspected crime under Article 231 of the Penal Code—failure to fulfill duties to the detriment of the public and private interest—by persons responsible for supervising the implementation of the Act: Bodnar, Żurek, Rudzińska-Bluszcz, Myrcha, and Pałka,”
he informed.
He added that “the December 13 clique has paralyzed the state by bringing charges of abuse of power for actions taken within the scope of administrative discretion: officials are now afraid to make decisions.”
“In this situation, bringing charges against Tusk’s people for inaction (failure to fulfill duties under Article 231 of the Penal Code) may mobilize Tusk’s people to act on issues important to Poles. Because so far, matters of security and the protection of the weakest remain outside their area of interest. These acts of negligence to the detriment of children cannot be tolerated any longer!”
he concluded.
