PiS program convention opens with focus on family, demography and education

“A conservative is not a revolutionary, but a person who, seeing the need for change and the need to adapt to new circumstances, changes the reality of human and family life, changes the reality of society’s life. Therefore, he is a normal person,” Prof. Przemysław Czarnek said as he opened the Law and Justice program convention.

The Law and Justice candidate for prime minister announced that the convention would focus on three key issues: family, demography, and education.

“There are no more important problems today than family, demography, and education. We live in a world and in Poland, where the attack on families is powerful. We have a family crisis, or, in fact, a demographic collapse, because last year the fewest Poles were born since the Second World War. And all of this is additionally overshadowed by dramatic changes in education, which are in fact anti-human and anti-social changes directed against the development of young people,”

Przemysław Czarnek stressed.

In addition to members of Law and Justice, the convention is being attended by representatives of 160 non-governmental organizations, which plan to sign two important documents: a Declaration of Values and a Pact for the Republic.

“These are 10 program points that we ultimately want to implement,”

Prof. Czarnek announced.
