Today Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki delivered a speech at the University of Heidelberg entitled “Europe in a historical turnaround”.
“We want to build a strong Europe that will cope with the challenges of the 21st century. We need an #EU that will be built on the foundations of nation states and not on their ruins, and will be based on the contributions of member states in terms of culture or economy.”
he said.

Heidelberg University, officially the Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg, is a public research university in Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Founded in 1386 on instruction of Pope Urban VI, Heidelberg is Germany’s oldest university and one of the world’s oldest surviving universities; it was the third university established in the Holy Roman Empire.
