Poland Being Played on All Fronts. Nawrocki Calls on Tusk for Real ACTION

“It’s been over 60 days of the Polish presidency, and Tusk and Trzaskowski are still asleep,” says Karol Nawrocki, a civic candidate for the presidency of Poland, in a video shared on social media. Poland is being played, and Donald Tusk doesn’t seem to care. Worse—does he even approve of it?

First, Paris

During the Munich Security Conference, which took place a few weeks ago, U.S. Vice President JD Vance dedicated his speech to a harsh but undeniably factual criticism of European democracy.

His words caused an uproar, particularly among the Brussels establishment. The response to the conference (though mostly to Vance’s remarks) came from Paris. French President Emmanuel Macron decided to convene a summit of EU leaders in his country, completely disregarding the fact that Poland currently holds the presidency of the Council of the European Union. This summit should have taken place in Warsaw, not Paris. It should have been initiated by Poland, not France. The meeting did take place—and Donald Tusk was present.

Then, London

Shortly after, European leaders felt another “impulse” to meet. Again, Poland was bypassed in favor of London, despite its role in the EU presidency. This summit was held on Sunday, following Friday’s events in the Oval Office. Quite the interesting pattern, isn’t it? Every time Donald Trump makes a strong statement about Europe, summits are called. The day after the London meeting, U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the event, stating that the “statement was not great.” Even Zelensky took some criticism.

Nawrocki: I Call on Tusk

Due to the ongoing acceptance of Poland being sidelined on the international stage, Karol Nawrocki, a civic candidate for Poland’s presidency, addressed Donald Tusk on social media. His demand? Action. Here and now.

“Poland only holds the EU Council presidency once in over a decade. Right now, we have this privilege. Other EU countries use it to push their national agendas, promote their nations, and, above all, organize major diplomatic summits. Everyone does it—except Tusk.”, he says in the video.

And he continues:

It’s been over 60 days of the Polish presidency, and Tusk and Trzaskowski are still asleep. Thanks to the actions taken by the Law and Justice government and President Andrzej Duda, Poland currently enjoys the best reputation in the United States among European nations. It’s time to use this and take action. I call on Donald Tusk to immediately convene an EU-USA summit in Poland, taking advantage of the presidency’s privilege. We must ensure our security through actions, not social media posts.
