In an unexpected turn, the white-and-red contingent conceded their first set of the tournament, succumbing 21:25 to the tenacious Hungarian side.
With the pressure mounting, Poland rallied in the fourth set, reminding everyone of their unwavering determination. Swiftly gaining the upper hand, they maintained a strong lead, although a fleeting dip in their advantage briefly kept the audience in suspense. Nevertheless, the Polish women showcased their mettle, wrapping up the match with a commanding 25:16 triumph.
Looking ahead to their next challenge, Poland is set to face Serbia on Monday in what promises to be another electrifying clash.
