Poland defeated Chile in last match before World Cup in Qatar

Eventually, after an exciting end of the match, Poland won 1:0 against Chile after Krzysztof Piatek’s goal in the 85th minute.

Chile prevailed in all possible statistics; in the one concerning ball possession, they even crushed the White-Reds. Czeslaw Michniewicz’s team, until Grzegorz Krychowiak was on the pitch, made their only offensive attempts with long balls from defenders to strikers, bypassing the midfield line. Those who hadn’t left the Polish Army Stadium in Warsaw by then got to see some good play at the end of the match.

The game of the Polish team was paced by Kamil Grosicki, with Bartosz Bereszynski’s help. Both gave a lot of quality and strength in the offence, even though Bereszynski is, after all, a side defender. In the 85th minute, after a corner kick, Krzysztof Piatek scored a goal. Poland had another two or three chances, and Vidal’s goal in the last minute was stopped by Polish goalkeeper Skorupski.

Eventually, Poland won against Chile 1-0 in the last match before the World Cup. The Polish national team will face Mexico at the World Cup on November 22 in Doha.
