Poland continues to bolster its defense capabilities with the recent acquisition of the third set of Bayraktar drones, announced by Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak. These drones have successfully completed testing at the 12th Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Base in Mirosławiec. Minister Błaszczak reiterated on social media that Poland remains committed to enhancing its security.
Poland’s Defense Arsenal
Poland’s commitment to strengthening its defense extends beyond drone acquisitions. The country already boasts 48 F-16 fighter jets, with 32 F-35 aircraft on order, set to be delivered to Polish pilots next year. Additionally, Poland has ordered 48 FA-50 aircraft, with a portion already in the Polish Air Force’s inventory. However, there is still a need for at least two more squadrons of multi-role aircraft, according to the Minister of National Defense.
