In Poland, there was an explosion of an unidentified object, while Donald Tusk is on vacation. But that’s not all. The Prime Minister posted on social media – not about the Lublin region, but about… Budapest. Comments started pouring in!
Since the morning, the Polish public has been gripped by the case of an unidentified object that fell last night near the town of Osiny in the Lublin region. Residents heard a loud bang and saw a flash of the explosion.
According to unofficial findings, Polish services have a recording from the monitoring of Polish airspace. It shows a rapidly moving object. Rzeczpospolita reports unofficially that it was a “Shahed” drone, used by Russia in its attacks on Ukraine.
Tusk and an alternative reality?
And what is the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, doing at this time? On the government leader’s account, one will not find any information related to the incident. Instead, he posted about… Budapest. Because it is there – possibly – that a planned meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin may take place.
“Budapest? Maybe not everyone remembers, but already in 1994 Ukraine received assurances of territorial integrity from the USA, Russia and the United Kingdom. In Budapest. Maybe I’m superstitious, but this time I’d try to find another place,” wrote Tusk, just at the moment when the issue of the object in the Lublin region clearly requires a reaction. Tusk’s ignorance of such an important matter was immediately pointed out by other users of platform X.
“Once again, Germany is using Tusk to do the dirty work. Chancellor Merz in Washington was smiling at President Trump, while Prime Minister Tusk was tasked with attacking. It’s only Poland that suffers,” commented Sebastian Kaleta (PiS).
“You’d better focus on Poland and the explosion in the Lublin region,” wrote Konrad Berkowicz from Konfederacja (Confederation).
