    Poland Secures 23 Medals at Paris Paralympics, Finishes 16th Overall

    Poland wrapped up the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games with an impressive 23 medals, finishing 16th in the overall medal standings. The Polish team secured eight gold, six silver, and nine bronze medals, highlighting their determination and skill across various sports. China dominated the Games, taking home a staggering 220 medals, including 94 golds, while Great Britain and the United States followed with 49 and 36 gold medals, respectively.

    Although Poland’s performance slightly dipped compared to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, where they claimed 24 medals, key athletes continued to deliver standout results. Karolina Pęk, Natalia Partyka, and Patryk Chojnowski were among those who led the Polish team, with Pęk earning three medals, further cementing her legacy in the nation’s Paralympic history.

    Poland’s gold medal winners included Barbara Bieganowska-Zając in athletics, Rafał Czuper in table tennis, and Kamil Otowski, who secured two golds in swimming. The country’s athletes also made their mark in fencing, archery, cycling, and other disciplines, bringing pride to the nation with their stellar performances.
