Despite Bulgaria’s brief lead at 13:11, Poland’s errors allowed their opponents to gain a significant advantage at 16:12. However, a determined Polish team fought back, only to falter due to service errors, allowing Bulgaria to secure the first set at 21:25.
The second set saw Poland take the lead at 9:5, but Bulgaria’s effective block narrowed the gap to 9:10. Despite the equalizing efforts of Dimitar, Poland rallied to build a lead, with Tomasz Fornal’s powerful attacks and Jakub Kochanowski’s stabilized serves guiding them to a 25:21 victory.
