Poles’ Favorite Politician: President Nawrocki Beats Trzaskowski and Tusk… Combined

President Karol Nawrocki has emerged as the most liked politician in Poland, according to a survey conducted by Ariadna for Wirtualna Polska.

When asked which politician they like the most, Poles overwhelmingly pointed to the head of state. As many as 28 percent of respondents named President Karol Nawrocki as their favorite politician — a result that gives him a decisive lead, with support twice as high as his nearest competitor.

In second place came Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski, with 14 percent support. Prime Minister Donald Tuskreceived 12 percent. Notably, the combined total for the two main figures of the ruling camp (26 percent) is lower than President Nawrocki’s score alone — a signal that may worry the Civic Coalition. Despite holding power and enjoying greater media exposure, the leaders of the ruling party trail the president in popularity.

Krzysztof Bosak, leader of the Confederation party, ranked fourth with 9 percent, confirming his stable position as a recognizable and respected figure among his electorate. Szymon Hołownia, Speaker of the Sejm, and Adrian Zandberg, leader of the Left Together party (Partia Razem), tied for fifth place with 8 percent each. Just behind them was Magdalena Biejat, Deputy Speaker of the Senate, who received 7 percent support.

Further down the ranking were Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, each with 4 percentWłodzimierz Czarzasty, leader of the Left and the incoming Speaker of the Sejm, was chosen by 3 percent of respondents as their favorite politician. Meanwhile, Jarosław Kaczyński, head of the Law and Justice party (PiS), was indicated by 2 percent.

The survey was conducted by the Ariadna Nationwide Research Panel between October 17 and 20, 2025, using the CAWI method on a sample of 1,088 Polish respondents.
