    In their opening match of the Hubert Jerzy Wagner Memorial, the Polish volleyball team faced Egypt, who will also be their first opponent at the upcoming Olympic Games. The Polish squad, led by Nikola Grbić, performed nearly flawlessly, securing a 25:16, 25:21, 25:18 victory. Grbić fielded a strong lineup, and Poland quickly established a four-point lead, maintaining a comfortable advantage throughout the first set. Stellar performances by Bartosz Kurek, Tomasz Fornal, and Kamil Semeniuk ensured a dominant display.

    The second set saw Egypt briefly take the lead, capitalizing on a series of Polish errors, particularly in serving. However, the Polish team regained their footing midway through the set as their opponents began to falter. Substitute Łukasz Kaczmarek contributed several crucial points, helping Poland reclaim control.

    Poland returned to form in the third set, with consistent scoring from Semeniuk, Fornal, and Kaczmarek. Despite some late resistance from Egypt, the Polish team secured a decisive win, showcasing their strength and preparedness for the Olympics.
