Police at the president’s family home — our findings confirmed. Gdańsk police issue statement

“The ambulance service arrived at the scene first, followed by officers of the State Fire Service, who forcibly entered the apartment. Police officers then also entered the premises. No one was found inside the apartment, and the report concerning a fire was not confirmed. Police secured the apartment until the residents arrived at the scene” — this is how the Pomeranian police described the intervention at the family home of President Karol Nawrocki in a statement issued today.

Last night, a scandalous and unprecedented situation took place. Following anonymous reports concerning a possible fire and a threat to the lives of people allegedly inside the apartment, emergency services — firefighters and police — forcibly entered, breaking down the door to the family home of President Karol Nawrocki in Gdańsk.

This morning, a statement was released by the Provincial Police Headquarters in Gdańsk.

The statement confirmed earlier information from the fire service regarding two reports concerning “a fire and a threat to life and health in one of the apartments in Gdańsk,” which were received after 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

“The ambulance service arrived at the scene first, followed by officers of the State Fire Service, who forcibly entered the apartment. Police officers then also entered the premises. No one was found inside the apartment, and the report concerning a fire was not confirmed. Police secured the apartment until the residents arrived at the scene,” the police statement reads.

Police officers added that, in connection with the false report, “intensive operational, investigative, analytical, and procedural activities are being carried out,” involving officers from the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime.

“The actions being undertaken include, among other things, securing evidence, analyzing teleinformation and telecommunications data, cooperation with telecommunications operators, as well as exchanging information with other services and institutions. Police officers are conducting activities that may contribute to identifying and arresting the perpetrator responsible for triggering the false alarm,” the statement said.
