Polish athletes Anastazja Kuś and Angelika Sarna to compete in Zurich Diamond League, featuring Olympic champions like Armand Duplantis.
Poland will be represented by two athletes at the Zurich Diamond League meeting. Anastazja Kuś will compete in the 400 m, while Angelika Sarna will run the 800 m.
Anastazja Kuś in the 400 m
Anastazja Kuś, who participated in the 4×400 m relay at the Paris Olympics, will now compete individually in Zurich. Kuś has the fourth-fastest time in the field this season (51.89). The fastest among her competitors is Norway’s Henriette Jaeger, with a time of 49.85.
Angelika Sarna in the 800 m
Angelika Sarna, the Polish 800 m runner-up, will face strong competition in Zurich. Sarna’s personal best this season is 1:59.63. Leading the pack is Britain’s Georgia Bell (1:56.28), with Ethiopia’s Tsige Duguma (1:57.15) being the favorite.
Star-Studded Event
The Zurich meeting will also feature several Olympic champions, including Sweden’s pole vault star Armand Duplantis, who recently set a new world record of 6.26 m in Chorzów. Other notable athletes include Grant Holloway (110 m hurdles) and Ryan Crouser (shot put).
