Polish diplomats will honor the deceased in Vilnius cemeteries during the All Saints’ Day commemorations.
In anticipation of All Saints’ Day and the Day of the Dead, Polish diplomats will visit cemeteries and national memorials in Lithuania. This solemn event is an opportunity to honor the memory of those who have passed away.
Key Visits Scheduled
From October 21 to November 1, representatives from the Polish Embassy and the Polish Institute in Vilnius will visit various cemeteries. On October 21, Chargé d’affaires Andrzej Dudziński and his wife will lay flowers at Antokol Cemetery. The visits will include stops at Rudniki, Ejszyszki, and other significant sites throughout the week.
Participation in ‘Light for Rossy’
On November 1, Chargé d’affaires a.i. Artur Soroko and Consul Jolanta Wiśnioch will participate in the annual “Light for Rossy” initiative. This event, organized by the Social Committee for the Care of Old Ross, will involve lighting candles at various cemeteries, including the historic Old Ross Cemetery, a tribute to the deceased Poles.
