In a gripping showdown at the ATP Metz tournament, the Polish-Monacan duo of Jan Zieliński and Hugo Nys successfully defended their title by defeating Constantina Fratzena and Hendrik Jebens 6:4, 6:4 in the final. As top seeds, Zieliński and Nys lived up to their favorites status, not dropping a set throughout the competition.
The final, arguably their easiest match, unfolded in just over an hour. Both sets followed a similar script, revolving around the pivotal breakthrough moment. In the first set, the breakthrough occurred at 4:4, while in the second set, Zieliński and Nys seized the advantage right from the opening game. Their service games remained unyielding, conceding break points only once and dominating most games without a hitch.
