A Polish soldier sustained minor injuries following the explosion of a booby trap in Lebanon – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz reported on Sunday. He added that the soldier was immediately provided with medical assistance.
“I have just been informed by the Operational Commander of the Armed Forces about an incident that occurred today in Lebanon. While a patrol of Polish soldiers from the Polish Military Contingent UNIFIL was traveling in a military vehicle, a booby trap exploded. One of our soldiers sustained minor injuries,” Kosiniak-Kamysz wrote on X.
The head of the Ministry of National Defence added that the soldier’s injuries are not life-threatening.
