The ongoing International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Paris showcases the products of 25 Polish companies at the Polish Space Agency’s (POLSA) booth. This significant event in the global space sector, taking place from September 18 to 22 at Parc des Expositions, brings together over 7,000 participants, including space agency leaders, astronauts, engineers, students, and business representatives from around 70 countries.
Hosted by France for the first time since 1982, the 73rd edition is organized by the National Center for Space Studies (CNES). Premiering at the Polish space sector booth are companies like Scanway, ELPROMA Electronics, PIAP Space, Creotech Instruments, and others, showcasing Poland’s prowess in space technology.
Before the congress’s commencement, French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne announced a €9 billion investment over three years in the space sector, emphasizing the need for strong resources and cutting-edge research to maintain independent access to space alongside Europe.
The Polish Space Agency (POLSA), established in 2014, serves as the executive agency of the Ministry of Development and Technology. It focuses on supporting the Polish space industry by implementing the priorities of the Polish Space Strategy and collaborates internationally to explore and utilize space. POLSA also promotes the Polish space sector domestically and abroad.
