    Polish Student Among Top 10 in Global Competition

    Polish student Mikołaj Wolanin named one of the top 10 in the world for the Global Student Prize.

    Mikołaj Wolanin, a law student at the University of Warsaw and Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University, has been named one of the top 10 students in the world. This recognition comes from the Global Student Prize, organized by the Varkey Foundation and Chegg.org. Competing with peers from countries like Canada, Argentina, and Turkey, Wolanin’s achievement highlights his dedication to student rights and social activism.

    Champion of Student Rights
    Wolanin, born in 2002, is the president and founder of the Foundation for Student Rights (FnrPU), established in 2019. He’s also involved in international advocacy through Child Rights Connect in Geneva. Beyond his activism, Wolanin has volunteered for Ukrainian refugees and was a nominee for the International Children’s Peace Prize in 2020.

    A Global Contest with a Noble Cause
    The Global Student Prize, which attracted 11,000 submissions this year, recognizes students making a significant impact on society. The winner, to be announced in September, will receive $100,000.
