    Polish Team Places Eighth in Mixed Competition at Summer Grand Prix Finale

    Poland’s mixed team finished eighth in Klingenthal’s Summer Grand Prix finale as Germany claimed victory.

    Poland’s mixed team, consisting of Dawid Kubacki, Paweł Wąsek, Anna Twardosz, and Natalia Słowik, secured eighth place in the final mixed team event of the Summer Grand Prix in Klingenthal. The German team, led by Pius Paschke, won the competition with a total of 978.8 points. Paschke was the best individual performer, achieving jumps of 138 m and 142.5 m for a score of 263.9 points.

    Despite leading after seven jumps, the Norwegian team finished second, trailing the Germans by only 3.6 points. Norway’s lineup included Halvor Egner Granerud and Marius Lindvik. Austria took the third podium spot with a total of 959.3 points.

    Paweł Wąsek was the top Polish performer, earning the 14th-best individual score with jumps of 133 m and 131 m. Kubacki, Twardosz, and Słowik contributed solid efforts, though Słowik struggled with shorter jumps.

    Austria won the men’s Nations Cup, while Japan triumphed in the women’s ranking. Poles finished third among men.
