NATO launched the Eastern Sentry operation this week to increase presence and security on the eastern flank. Actions are already underway and involve numerous forces from the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, the United Kingdom, and other countries.

“The planned military capabilities will respond to specific threats related to the use of drones. Operation Eastern Sentry will add flexibility to our posture and demonstrate that, as allies, we are always ready to defend. I am convinced and believe in the strength of this alliance – not only thanks to the leadership of our commanders,” NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said on Friday.
