Food security is just as important to Poland today as military, energy, and healthcare security, and Polish farmers play a vital role in strengthening the nation’s overall security, President Karol Nawrocki said during the AgroLiga 2025 gala. He also pledged continued support for the protection of Polish farmland and domestic agriculture.
During the 33rd edition of the competition, President Nawrocki honored Poland’s top farmers and agribusiness entrepreneurs.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the point is that the food security of the Republic of Poland is just as important today for our homeland as military security, national defense, healthcare security, and energy security. It is thanks to you that Poles enjoy food security,” the president said.
Nawrocki emphasized that the Presidential Palace would remain a place closely connected to Poland’s rural communities and family farms. He stressed that family-run farms are one of the foundations of Polish agriculture and a key contributor to the country’s prosperity.
