President Nawrocki Meets with U.S. Army Soldiers in Gdynia — SEE PHOTOS

On Friday in Gdynia, President Karol Nawrocki signed the legislative initiative “Yes to Polish Ports.” The proposed law obliges the government to undertake a series of investments aimed at securing Poland’s economic and strategic interests.

After signing the initiative, President Nawrocki also met with soldiers from the 598th Transportation Brigade of the U.S. Army. This time, he swapped his tie and suit for a turtleneck, a jacket with Poland’s national emblem, and a baseball cap featuring the white-and-red flag.

The 598th Transportation Brigade integrates and synchronizes the strategic deployment and distribution of ground forces for the movement, positioning, and sustainment of the U.S. Armed Forces under the commands of U.S. European Command (USEUCOM) and U.S. Africa Command (USAFRICOM). Shipments of American military equipment regularly arrive at the Port of Gdynia as part of training exercises and efforts to strengthen NATO’s presence in the region.
