“We are leaving Davos with the conviction that Poland’s position and all economic and business issues were highlighted. Our objectives have been achieved,” said President Karol Nawrocki, summing up his activity at the World Economic Forum.
He pointed to the bilateral meetings he held, including with U.S. President Donald Trump.
“It was a good, 40-minute meeting during which President Trump reaffirmed all allied commitments, everything we discussed during our first visit to the White House, including American troops in Poland and the investment in developing military infrastructure in Lower Silesia, in Bolesławiec. We also discussed economic issues and Poland’s presence in the G20,” he reported.
“This invitation is an expression of respect for the President, the military, and the nation. I did not sign the declaration, but today I took part in the inauguration of this council,” he added.
