U.S. President Donald Trump has invited Polish President Karol Nawrocki to the U.S.-led Peace Council. This information was unofficially confirmed by the portal Niezalezna.pl.
The establishment of the Council is one of the points of the peace plan agreed upon by Israel and Hamas.
According to a draft obtained by Bloomberg, the body will be chaired by the U.S. president, and its members are to include Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Trump administration special envoy Steve Witoff and some European leaders – including Karol Nawrocki, as confirmed by the portal Niezalezna.pl.
The Council is to deal not only with Gaza. As Financial Times reported on Friday, the body would also work on ending conflicts in Ukraine and Venezuela.
In Gaza, a ceasefire has been in place since October 10, 2025, and the creation of the Council is to be part of implementing the second phase of the truce. Many details concerning the agreement and the functioning of this body remain unclear.
