“This award is an honor for me, but also a responsibility (…) Poland must remain Poland, and we must repeat every day: Poland first! Long live Poland, thank you for this award,” said Karol Nawrocki, a civic candidate for the presidency of Poland, as he received the “Man of the Year 2024” award from the Gazeta Polska Clubs.
During today’s gala, “Man of the Year of Gazeta Polska,” the winners of prestigious awards presented by the Free Speech Zone and its community were announced.
A particularly special award is the one granted by hundreds of Gazeta Polska Clubs in Poland and around the world. We wrote about it in the article Karol Nawrocki Named “Man of the Year” by Gazeta Polska Clubs. DETAILS.
The Gazeta Polska Clubs award was given to Karol Nawrocki, President of the Institute of National Remembrance and a civic candidate for the presidency of Poland.
Nawrocki: This is the Most Democratic Award
“I’ve always felt very comfortable among the members of the Gazeta Polska Clubs. For many years, I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with people who are the essence of civil society. This is the most democratic award because 533 clubs chose their laureate,” said Dr. Nawrocki as he accepted the award.
He added:
“All of Poland should be a home of free speech, a home of prosperity. A safe home, but also a home where wisdom will reside once again. And when wisdom returns, we will live in a normal home. And that’s what we need. This cannot be achieved without the state.”
He concluded with the words:
“This award is an honor for me, but also a responsibility (…) Poland must remain Poland, and we must repeat every day: Poland first! Long live Poland, thank you for this award.”
