Today, “Stop Immigration” protests are taking place across Poland. In Warsaw, hundreds of people gathered at Plac Defilad to express their opposition to Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s migration policy.

TV Republika broadcast footage of an attempted provocation that occurred during the demonstration in the capital.

A small group of far-left activists appeared on site holding a banner reading “Migrants Welcome.” A group of football fans participating in the protest approached them. Police responded swiftly and surrounded the Antifa members. The left-wing activists chanted slogans such as “No pasaran” (“Fascism won’t pass”).

“For a moment, it looked dangerous when they tried to clash with the football fan groups,”
said a TV Republika reporter.

The activists were escorted from the demonstration site by police.
