The mischievous feline, enjoying a free roam in the car, leaped onto the lap of a 20-year-old driver, causing a momentary loss of control that ended with the vehicle in a roadside ditch and a streetlight damaged.
The incident occurred early Monday morning on the Przełęk-Nysa route. According to local police, the young driver was traveling alone with the kitten when it unexpectedly jumped onto him, startling him and leading to the unfortunate crash. Miraculously, the driver and the kitten escaped the accident unscathed, walking away without any injuries.
In response to the crash, Nysa police have issued a reminder about the importance of securing pets while driving. “Animals, even small ones like kittens, should be properly restrained in vehicles,” a police spokesperson emphasized.
