Polish table tennis player Rafał Czuper won gold at the Paralympic Games in Paris, defeating Czech rival Jiri Suchanek 3:1 in the MS2 category final. The intense match, which lasted 31 minutes, saw Czuper dominate in three sets (11:6, 8:11, 11:8, 11:6), securing the prestigious title.
Czuper’s road to victory was marked by a series of impressive performances. He started by beating France’s Julien Michaud 3:0 in the round of 16, followed by a 3:1 win over Italy’s Federico Crosara in the quarterfinals. His semifinal clash with South Korean Cha Soo-yong ended in another 3:1 victory, setting the stage for his triumphant final.

With this win, Czuper adds to Poland’s medal tally in Paris, which now stands at 16, including five golds. Fellow table tennis player Dorota Bucław also earned a bronze in the WS1-2 class, further highlighting the strength of the Polish Paralympic team.
