Rally of support for President Nawrocki. Sakiewicz: “PLN 3 billion written into SAFE as a bribe for journalists”

“In this famous SAFE loan, 3 billion was written in for the largest bribe in history for journalists and commentators,” said Tomasz Sakiewicz, editor-in-chief of Gazeta Polska and Gazeta Polska Codziennie, who took part in a demonstration of support for President Karol Nawrocki after he vetoed the SAFE loan bill.

The editor-in-chief of Gazeta Polska pointed out that a natural poll took place in front of the Presidential Palace: 10 opponents of the president’s veto of the SAFE bill showed up, and – as Sakiewicz noted – thousands of patriots.

“As a rule, I do not take part in political demonstrations, I only report on them, but what has happened in the last few hours is incredible and requires speaking out. In this famous SAFE loan, 3 billion was written in for the largest bribe in history for journalists and commentators,” said Sakiewicz.

“Our colleagues who are so boldly attacking the president today were supposed to divide 3 billion from our pockets among themselves for propaganda promoting the SAFE program. There has never been such large-scale bribery of journalists, commentators, and analysts in history. And the nonsense you hear about a project that is financially disadvantageous, that makes us dependent, that destroys Polish-American relations and cuts us off from our most important ally – but above all leads to a situation in which, after several years of this project operating, there will be no money for the army, because it is a snake that eats its own tail,” Sakiewicz emphasized.

“All the interest will have to be repaid and serviced, which will consume all defense spending, and the only beneficiary of this will be Germany, which will borrow more cheaply, take the money from us at a higher cost, and we will end up financing its defense industry. The fact that today Donald Tusk, while himself breaking the state secrecy he introduced, read out the plants that are to receive the money and omitted the fact that the largest allocation – 10 billion zlotys – was for his colleague’s plant, a plant that produces nothing and does not even have permission to start production, shows what kind of project this is,” added the editor-in-chief of Gazeta Polska.
