In the heart of Paris, the 50th anniversary of the “u pallotynów” Center for Dialogue saw a gathering of Polish and international intellectuals and writers. The founder, pallottine priest Rev. Józef Sadzik, was posthumously awarded the Commander’s Cross with Star of the Order of Rebirth of Poland.
Parys Center for Dialogue welcomed luminaries like Cardinal Karol Wojtyła, Czesław Miłosz, Józef Czapski, and Gustaw Herling-Grudziński. The center hosted a conference titled “Dialog: Utopia or Reality?” exploring intellectual, intercultural, and religious dialogues in today’s technologically shaped societies.
Founded in 1973, the center became a literary haven hosting readings, intellectual discussions, and Masses. Notable figures like Stefan Kisielewski and papal reporter Tadeusz Nowakowski graced its halls. The Center served as a home for Polish artists, including recitals by Ewa Osińska and readings by Daniel Olbrychski.
